Vegan Chocolate Fondue
Silky smooth chocolate sauce perfect for dipping.

- 1 avocado
- 6 tbsp cacao powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or yacon syrup
- 2 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon optional
- 2 tbsp purified water
- 1/2 cup purified water
Combine everything except 1/2 cup water in a food processor and process until mixture is smooth.
Add 1/4 cup water and process again until well blended. Add the remaining water if needed to reach desired consistency, thick enough to coat fruit when dipped.
Store in a sealed glass jar in the refrigerator for up to a week.
To serve, pour into a bowl and use sliced banana, apples and strawberries, gf pretzels, vegan marshmallows, or cookies.
Using a blender can add too much air and result in a fluffy consistency rather than silky smooth sauce. If you need to use a blender, use on a lower speed.
To make a mousse, use a blender on high and only add 1/4 cup of water.
